Now booking for Summer 2026

“I felt that the most important thing I could do for animals was to leave them alone. But upon coming to Earthfire, I found the most moving experience for me was their desire to connect – their insistence that they be met. That has changed everything for me. I can no longer see a deer or a bison, or a bear, or a wolf or a lynx without acknowledging that we are here together.”

– Terry Tempest Williams, author and Earthfire retreat leader

Would you like an intimate encounter with wildlife?

Earthfire offers a limited number of private, custom visits. These exclusive visits are unique, immersive encounters with our rescued animals that allow visitors a glimpse into who the wild ones truly are, their ecological importance, and provides an opportunity to explore the land on which they live. These experiences often include moments of deep connection, which we hope then inspire action on behalf of wildlands and wildlife conservation.

In order to protect the privacy and tranquility of the animals, this is an exclusive experience offered only with advanced booking, and based on availability.

We will work with you to co-create a unique, personalized framework for your custom visit.
