A Conservation Conversation with Dr. Susan Eirich  |  August 23, 2017 (Note Date Change)

View our August 23rd live online video Conservation Conversation with Dr. Susan Eirich, How Connecting with an Animal Can Help Us Heal the Earth.  This month’s theme was “Becoming the Other: Feeling into the Life of a Non-Human Being.”

Albert Einstein once said, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” That holds true for our relationship with wild animals and our living Earth.
One way we can shift our thinking is to begin to see the world through the eyes of other species—and even through the eyes of an individual of that species. What riches might we reap if we try to experience life as a non-human being? What discoveries might we make? Where might that lead us?

Earthfire community members have been thrilled by this global conversation. “I loved the open, calm, respectful turn-taking that happened throughout—a great mirror of the connection with the animals,” said one participant. “I feel it is SO important and I loved the different input from different people,” said another.

This was the fourth conversation in our series of online video discussions with Dr. Susan Eirich. The next Conversation will take place on Wednesday September 20th, 2017 at 6pm MST. View the Heartfelt Community Experience from August 23rd here:
