Tanaka

Tanaka is a large silver and black timberwolf. Gentle, shy, and affectionate, he’s the opposite of his more confident sister, Kenai. He responds eagerly to rubs with fresh peppermint leaves and oils. Years ago, he was rushed to a veterinary clinic for emergency surgery. They were nervous about working on a wolf, but he won them over with his sweetness after a touch-and-go operation and was dubbed a “true gentleman” wolf.

Wolf Facts: A wolf’s howl can travel over 9 miles or 15 kilometers.
