Tanaka

Tanaka is a large silver and black timberwolf. Gentle, shy, and affectionate, he’s the opposite of his more confident mate, Destiny. He responds eagerly to rubs with fresh peppermint leaves and oils. They were nervous about working on a wolf, but he won them over with his sweetness after a touch-and-go operation and was dubbed a “true gentleman” wolf.

Animal Fact

A wolf’s howl can travel over 9 miles or 15 kilometers.
