Happy fox in a grassy field

Sprite and Lightfoot came as kits in need of adoption and became friendly, personable young foxes, featured in several documentaries before they came to Earthfire. Sprite is street-smart, crafty, hard to fool by a mere human brain. Her refusal to be crate-trained (ie “trapped” in her mind), while working for a documentaries meant that she had to be worked free. Which required many many many many treats. Of the most varied and delectable kind.

Fox Facts from the National Wildlife Federation: Red foxes can be found throughout the continental United States from Alaska to Florida. The smallest population is in the Southwest, where it is very rare to see a red fox. Red foxes like open areas in woodlands, rural and suburban neighborhoods, wetlands, and brushy fields.
