Sprite

Sprite and Lightfoot came as kits in need of adoption and became friendly, personable young foxes, featured in several documentaries before they came to Earthfire. Sprite is street-smart, crafty, hard to fool by a mere human brain. Her refusal to be crate-trained (ie “trapped” in her mind), while working for a documentaries meant that she had to be worked free. Which required many many many many treats. Of the most varied and delectable kind.

Animal Fact

"Red foxes can be found throughout the continental United States from Alaska to Florida. The smallest population is in the Southwest, where it is very rare to see a red fox. Red foxes like open areas in woodlands, rural and suburban neighborhoods, wetlands, and brushy fields" (National Wildlife Federation).
