Promise and brother Tundra arrived at Earthfire from an animal talent business that could no longer care for them. Promise is a prominent presence in our pack, captivating onlookers with his magnificence and confidence. Though he can take a long time to warm up to strangers, once his trust is earned he is deeply sensitive and affectionate. This facet of his personality revealed itself to its full extent when the wolf puppies were born to Destiny and Tanaka at Earthfire in April of 2021. He adopted all six of them with a fierce possessiveness that earned him the title of “Uncle Promise.” As the puppies have matured into adulthood, he has formed an especially close relationship with Sikanni.
