Black and white paint horse

Ember

While visiting a friend who was looking to rescue a horse from a kill pen in Louisiana, Susan spotted Ember, who was scheduled to be sent to slaughter within four hours. She made a deposit on the spot. Originally named Flash, he was renamed Ember because life was still there, awaiting a chance to glow brightly once again. It took a long time to remove the glue and sticker that marked him for doom and get him back to health, but he is now in fine shape, with a rich, glossy, black and white coat. Ember has become an adoring companion for Foffy and has adapted well to his unusual herd of bison and burros.
