If there is such a thing as an autistic bear, it would seem Humble Bumble would be that. HIs fearfulness of anything not familiar, his slowness to respond to stimuli, his disorganization, and his gentle demeanor are characteristic.
Have you thought of such a thing?

Same here--I just learned of this site from Donna's email newsletter yesterday. You'd never believe it but I've been on this site all day long. I started last night.
What a tender soul this bear is and such a sweet bear. It would be wonderful to hold him--at least as much as a person could hold. I'm going to find out about all the animals here. But I guess I'll get back to that tomorrow. Right now I'm going out for a long walk--been sitting all day reading about these precious animals and how they are so lovingly cared for.

I have just learned of Earthfire through Donna Eden & Innersource. Thank you Donna for visiting the institute and letting us know.

The caregiving and acknowledgment of Humble Bumble for who he is, brings a special light into the world.

Thank you.
